Dried flower heads of Chrysanthemum indicum L. or Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat. (Asteraceae).

Flavonoids including luteolin, monoterpenoids, sesquiterpenoids, and other volatile constituents.

Traditional Functions

Disperses wind-heat, clears liver heat, brightens the eyes, and clears heat.

Traditional Uses

Traditionally used for red or irritated eyes, blurred vision, eye fatigue, headache, and other eye discomfort associated with wind-heat or liver heat.
